# Standards of Health

Autonomy, Beneficence, Non-Maleficence and Justice are four pillars of medical ethics which can be found in Principles of Biomedical Ethics by [Beauchamp and Childress (2019)](https://global.oup.com/ushe/product/principles-of-biomedical-ethics-9780190640873). These four core principles are widely found in the ethics code of many health professions in Malaysia and are used to guide practitioners to ethically treat all their patients.
